Another Viking arrested?

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Another Viking arrested?

Post by SkinsJock »

I just heard that another Viking was arrested this morning (4/19) - apparently for DWI - I hope that the teams and the NFL start to hit these guys hard - anyone who gets arrested after what has happened to Jones deserves the same treatment

How stupid can you be? - I think that anyone who is that stupid to take a chance by doing anything that would jeopardize their career in the NFL especially after what just happened should be thrown out of football - we do not need stupid people on the NFL field.

This is really simple - do not do anything or hang around with people that might cause you to get arrested - if you do that, I hope the NFL punishes the player AND the team - maybe then we will get the players' attention.
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

I haven't heard anything yet but that doesn't surprise me at all. A DWI, huh? It's not like these guys don't have enough money to afford a limo when they want to go out drinking.

You're right SkinsFreak! - if you want to have a few drinks, take a cab, for crying out loud - I have not seen anything yet - like I said, I heard a report on Sirius radio about this. Without knowing anything I should not be too harsh - we all know how the media can distort things

It just sounds silly that, like you point out SkinsFreak - these guys should never be caught for DWI - they all can at least afford a taxi or limo - no one can afford to give Goodell another reason to jump on these guys.

According to his mouthpiece...

The lawyer for Vikings cornerback Roynell Whitaker says that the arrest of his client was a "total mistake," and that the matter has been dropped.

Apparently, Whitaker was stopped in September 2006 for suspicion of DUI and reckless driving. He passed a field sobriety test, and later paid a fine for reckless driving.

But when police spotted his car parked illegally on Thursday morning, the charges showed up as unresolved. And so he was arrested. Whitaker's agent, Brian Levy, claims that a valet service had parked the car in the illegal space.

No it's the "another cop working with outdated info".
