Talk about the Washington Football Team here. Do you bleed burgundy and gold?

Dwight Freeney

Post by CampbellSoup17 »

is it possible that if we do trade our #6 for Briggs and #31 that we sign Freeney then give up #31 and another pick to Indy then we essentially get 2 pro-bowl FRANCHSIE players for nothing more than 2 picks? This barring Indy of course doesn't not match any deal Snyder can give Freeney. Sounds pretty sweet to me

Unless they play for free it'll never happen. Even our number crunchers can't pull that one off

We've spent enough... It's time to develop and coach what we got and move forward....

Draft the DE @ #6 and develop him. Rocky's side of the ball should be good enough with Carter coming on at DE and Smoot back and his ability to tackle. Pass coverage from Smoot maybe a crap shoot because of the time he spent in Minny but who knows....

Remember, our biggest problem on Carter and Holdman's side of the field was not the deep ball. It was getting gashed for big runs on that side....
