Whoa
I know we have little interest in him at this point but i just wanted to state that patrick willis ran a 4.37 at his pro day. Weighing around 240 lbs. Yikes. Thats Sean Taylor type freakishness.
Hey I love Patrick Willis and I guarentee it right here right now he will win NFL Defensive Rookie of the year.
However, for some reason it's unacceptable in the NFL to draft a stud MLB who will anchor your defense for years to come within the top 5 or so picks. So no matter how good he is, people will say, "That was a stupid pick" even though he would anchor our Defense for the next 10 or so years.
And B) After the Fletcher signing, we won't use a first round pick on a LB so unfortunately I never see him as a Redskin... which sucks.

Remember though that 4.37 is way inflated.
He really runs like a 4.52 ish, which is awesome, but lets not get all excited he ran a 4.37 at his pro day
pro day conditions are always 10 times more favorable than those of the combine (little pressure, fast tracks, inside a lot of the time, track shoes, ect and are even timed differently often (electronic vs. hand)
Thus-----> Not as freakish as ST

On the eighth day God created Sean Taylor- and he was good.
