Use the 5th or 6th rounder on...

Post by DG28 »

Grant Wiley MLB from West Virginia Unversity, he's a beast, a little undersized but his heart makes up for it. He should be around at these picks, trust me don't sleep on this guy.

I don't think he'll last until the 6th. I would take him but I really can't predict who we'll take.

these picks will be for more depth. this looks like a 2004 college draft forum topic to me.

I would be very happy with that pick because I am a die hard WVU fan. With that said, make sure you know what you are getting: Grant is a tweaner - not a MLB. He would not come in a replace Trotter.

However, he is a beast and a tackling machine. An upgrade over Marshall or Pierce.

Yeah baby! WVU! I am an alum. Wiley is a beast but it comes from his heart and not from his physical talent. I am not sure how well he will do in the NFL. He does have football smarts and that combined with heart can definitely take you places. He is bluecollar all the way. It would be a great 6th round pick, that's for sure.

As a Tech fan, I've seen this guy play plenty. He definitely has what it takes to be a productive player in the NFL, although he wont be better than Marshall or Pierce (at least right away).

Would be a great pick in the 5th or 6th round. One of the best defensive players in the BE the last couple seasons.
