Trade scenario!!!

Post by tj123456 »

Ok, tell me what you think... Lance briggs for our 5th, 7th, and Adam archuleta.

I know we have to figure out his contract his situation, but say we did. Would this be acceptable considering the massive weight we are only recently now placing on the importance of draft picks???

I say do it...

Just a thought considering Rocky is a ??? and lemar is o.k. Also, the bears really need some help at strong safety, not to mention the St. Louis connection...

Thought???

I think you have been drinking. There is NO way they give us his rights for AA, and two low round draft choices.

Personally, I hope the Redskins stand pat with what they have and what they can get in the draft. Maybe resign some players but work with what is there. It isn't as bad as 06 indicated.

I second this thought, and I have NOT been drinking...
My children, gather round! No retreat, no surrender; that is Spartan law. And by Spartan law we will stand and fight... and die. A new age has begun. An age of freedom, and all will know, that 300 Spartans gave their last breaths to defend it!

Any day of the week. Maybe they'll even throw in Angelina Joli.

Maybe while we are at it, we can toss in Rock Cartwright and get Brian Urlacher back as well.

Briggs is a great player but I don't want his attitude for our locker room. He's all about money. Besides, I don't want to invest in any more linebackers. I think we can develop the talent we already have into a great linebacking corps. Let's focus on more pressing needs like DT, DE, CB, and OG. I still think we need to draft Zabransky at QB if he's around in the 4th or 5th. He's going to be special.

Awesome... maybe we can just get someone to give us a pro bowler for our 7th round pick. I heard the seventh round will be chock full of talent this year.

Forget the salary cap, forget relative player abilities... let's just make some deals...
Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.

If I'm not mistaken, the Bears have tagged Briggs so there's no way you could possibly get him for that type compensation. The tag carries with it automatic 1st round picks.

Don't worry about the minor details - this is just a discussion - we are allowed to make stuff up here, it happens all the time
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

You're right, we are allowed to make stuff up that's why this board is always crowded with crud. Oh! by the way, trades and compensation involving trades is major.

Not if it gets us a player that we really do not need
