Who will be the 3rd string QB?

Talk about the Washington Football Team here. Do you bleed burgundy and gold?

Who will be the 3rd string QB?

Gibram Hamdan is in NFL Europe right? Will he be back in time for the start of the season? Will we need another 3rd stringer?

No - there will be a competition and Hamdan will have a leg up for playing in NFLe. Hasselbeck is good and smart though and Gibbs looks for that. He doesn't have the arm that Ramsey and Hamdan do though.

It depends on how smart Hamdan can play...

If you guys don't want Hasselbeck we'll gladly take him back. Just cut him before the draft so we don't waste a second day pick. :)

I think Hasselback will be the 3rd stringer unless they draft or bring in a rookie free agent.

Hasselback could only win a game if we were beating a NFL team in every phase of the game. That was only one the Giants. He has no arm what so ever. If Gibbs picks Hasselback over Hamden that will be a crime.

He led us to a good lead over Miami. Our defense just couldn't hold it for him. Not to mentioned he had only been with the team for 3 weeks? With a little more "coachin" up, he'll be more than adequate as 3rd string. In fact, he's probably better than most teams 2nd string.

I agree. We should keep Hasslebeck. With almost no background with that crappy playbook, he did quite well. It was our D that kept him from winning more. He's got to stay. I will admit though, that I know nothing about Hamdan. I just know what I saw and I was impressed. With so little time, I think Tim did quite well.

I don't like Hassleback very much. Ever since he had that 0.00 passer rating AT HOME against the Cowboys. I just haven't liked him since

Chalk up that 0.00 rating to Spurrier's inability to coach. With 2 weeks to prepare he still was no help for our QB's. Hasselback is a good 3rd QB. The point is we have Ramsey and Brunnell in front, so TH has time to develop.
