If the Skins can trade down and to get a Defensive Tackle like Harris, Wilfork, Starks or Dockett... or DE - Udeze, Smith, or Ball, plus get a later first rounder or early 2nd rounder then the Skins could consider Georgia Safety - SEAN JONES.
The hype has been on Sean Taylor, rightfully so, but the other safety in the draft is climbing very fast and I have heard that Sean Jones could actually be better than Sean Taylor in a year or two...he has been called a "more complete player"
Check out his stats...he is a TACKLE MONSTER:

I prefer to trade with Cleveland and get Taylor at the 7th spot and still gain a 3rd rounder in the process.

The Lions signed Brock Marion and the Browns are scared that they want K2, so the Browns will trade with us to get #5. So Taylor most likely will be safe with us at #7. That's why I love that trade.

Taylor will be a top 6 pick no matter what. What I'm worried about is that potential trade between the Giants and the Chargers. No, I'm not worried about the Giants pick because they want Eli Manning. The pick I'm worried about is the Chargers. I heard the Chargers are on the ups with Phillip Rivers. Rivers is not top 10 material, so we know the Chargers are going down in the draft. In this position, any team can get the no.4 pick. I'm worried that some team who are in need of a safety could jump from us and steal Taylor. I hope some team who are looking for QB and jump to 4 like Green Bay or Buffalo who might get Roethlisberger.

With what was said at the press conference Sat. I wouldn't necessarily count on Taylor.
They have one point they are still worried about and you know that has to be the line.
Originally Gibbs said that he wouldn't trade back most likely... but yesterday he said you have to be ready to drop back (trade down)
Rumors out of Ashburn had them looking at Taylor/Harris in the 5th spot, but now Gibbs is talking about looking at 6-7 players there or being prepared to drop back.
Plus the fact that you hear him talk about how they had changed their minds in several instances about players after seeing them on the practice field. Wanna bet that Williams liked what he saw from the safety position? After all - what position on our team had more interceptions - CB or safety?
I try to keep telling you guys - in Edwards' defense the safety has to be in three spots at once - stopping the run, stopping the short pass and covering a receiver or back... their heads were on a swivel and their missions unclear.
With the intensity of the coach - and boy does he sound intense in the press conference - the detail orientation, the planning, the schemes, the changing up at proper times - I would say that Ohalete and Bowen are going to prosper.
I don't know that Taylor is a lock at #5 when we can trade back, get a third decent pick as well as fill a major hole on the DL.
