Petitgout To Tampa

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

I hoped we'd get him, but I thought it was a long shot just because he's a tackle and is still decent even if he's not in his prime, I just thought someone would be willing to pay more then us.

I'm thinking we're not going to sign anyone until later and we see who's left and wants to start, unless there's some sort of personal connection between a player on the market and one of our players or coaches who convince them to come here.

If he has a bad back I don't want him especially for 3 years 15 mil. Although it seems like a bargain in this market he is a little older than the guys who got the big money. Plus back injuries always linger, see t-mac

I'm glad we didn't get him.

A 30 year old guy, with a bad back, who's played tackle for most of his career and we're offering millions so we can convert him to a guard...forget that. Either wait for a guard to get cut later for salary cap reasons or find a guy internally...

Here are some guards that are available:

Matt Lehr -- Falcons
Tutan Reyes -- Bills
Cooper Carlisle -- Denver (not a power guy)
Cosey Coleman -- Browns (only 28 years old)
Ruben Brown -- Bears (35 years old)

There will be more as teams cut guys.
