yes and there are freshwater dolphin called river dolphin, four different species even.

No, it has openings to the sea by an underwater canal called the Caledonian canal. It is said and thought to be freshwater, but actually has a more or less salt water river in it. It could possibly be classified as an estuary, but the mix of waters is not as thorough as in most estuaries, such as the Chesapeake Bay, which is not actually a bay.

Actually, yes, Loch Ness is fresh water. But dolphins have been known to survive for some time in fresh water. And apparently, there are about 4 or 5 species of freshwater dolphins.

"Loch Ness is the greatest volume of freshwater in the British Isles, containing more indeed than all the lakes and reservoirs of England and Wales put together."

Well, most of the best stuff isn't actually a secret anymore anyway. Then again, if some of the best stuff actually is still a secret, how would I know? :hmm:
