On Michael Moore, Wikipedia here's a pretty good whopper. Their references are included at the bottom.
Cuts to Soldiers' Pay
Michael Moore states, “While Bush was busy taking care of his base and professing his love for our troops, he proposed cutting combat soldiers' pay by 33% and assistance to their families by 60%.”[31]
What Moore is referring to is two bonus allowances given to deployed soldiers. When he says soldiers’ pay he means Imminent Danger/Hostile Fire Pay, a bonus received by soldiers in designated combat zones. By assistance to their families he means Family Separation Allowance, one of many benefits that soldiers with families get. In reality, no soldier, combat or otherwise, was in danger of having their pay cut by a third, and no family was going to lose 60% of their benefits.
On his website, without citing the original error, Michael Moore actually misquotes himself by adding the word bonus to the line, "…proposed cutting the soldiers’ combat bonus pay 33 percent and assistance to their families by 60 percent."[32]

I double-checked. Yes, in Fahrenheit 9/11 the word "bonus" was not in the movie.
So, this is a "whoppper"? One word out of a movie that was later corrected? Would you have rather seen Moore not make the amend? If he hadn't, would this ever have even been brought up?!
So, now that this WHOPPER is out of the bag, I guess I have to go and make the silly little argument that Bush has broken the Constitution. Got any more of them whoppers, by the way?

So you consider the difference between cutting your paycheck at work by 33% and cutting a bonus you are paid on top of your paycheck by 33% to be "silly?" Sure you do.
You consider cutting support to your family by 60% and cutting one of several family support bonuses by 60% to be "silly?" Sure you do.
You said he doesn't lie, obviously he made intentionally false statements to intentionally convey a false point. Which most people would call a lie whether you care about your pay being cut by 33% or not.
And I didn't see anywhere Michael Moore initiated the change rather then responded to it, where was that?

I never wrote that either of those were silly.
Do I think that qualifies as a lie? I think it's a bit misleading, but not a lie. Particularly when you consider that he later modified the statement to make it more accurate. Members of Congress cite statistics like these every day, most often when they're on the relection campaign. It's a tool of the trade.

Wow. Cut pay 33%, cut a combat bonus 33%, the type of words that are minced every day. They wrote a movie script, reviewed, edited, filmed, film edited making the sensational claim combat soldier's pay was being cut 33% when only a bonus was and that's just a "misleading" "statistic."
Actually your statement was true since you said "Do I think that qualifies as a lie?" rather than is it a lie. I believe you do believe that, of that I am convinced. And I'm sure you would give a Republican making a movie on Bill Clinton the same latitude.

So here's some questions for you. Don't bother on my Bush question, you've just demonstrated the futility of that.
#1 - Are Democrats like Vulcans? They recognize the evilness of Republicans but just are not capable of lying to counter it?
Or is it just that Democrats are so noble and pure always seeking goodness in others that no matter how many times Republicans lie Democrats fall for it even though they should know better?
#2 - Since Democrats are in fact incapable of telling a lie for whatever the answer to #1 was, what would happen if two Democrats disagreed, would the world explode? Or is it like Lieberman where a Democrat who agrees with other Democrats on every issue but one is obviously a Republican even when they control the party in control of the Senate and choose the Democrats?
#3 - Is that why every Democrat agrees on every issue? Because once makes a statement the rest just believe the original statement since Democrats cannot lie?
All I can say is "Wow."

I guess I have to write a serious quote.
You know back in the day when I was a young man like you we thought politicians were lying scum who just wanted to manipulate us for votes.
I am so glad that the next generation as so well represented by yourself has realized they are just honest and noble creatures who in the end only live to do the right thing.
Problem is I haven't attained your level of enlightenment of total trust of policians and I fear I never will.
God bless, young man. And God, you're going to need it until you wake up as to the lying scum they are. I pity you.

Fox is Conservative, I'm libertarian.
Anarchists and Militias fear government, libertarians just want to limit it.
Re-re-re-re-explaining what I have already told you is what I always have to do for you
But I do remember where I met you. It was Reagan airport. You were wearing a long robe, had shaved head, and shook a tambourine and were raising money for Democrats. What was it you called yourself? A HarryReidsa?
You may remember me, I gave you a pity quarter.

I've conceded that I can't have any rational discussion with you, you're just too wrapped up in your beloved Democratic party. After my discussions with Crazyhorse I actually felt a little bad I had blown you off so hard. I no longer feel bad, I gave you a real chance and you just can't do it. All conversations with you start and end with the assumption Democrats are angelic and Republicans evil and anyone not a Democrat is a Republican. That's as deep as the waters go.
So instead I have a paradox for you.
One Democrat calls another Democrat a liar. He must be a liar since the first Democrat cannot lie, but he can't be a liar because he is a Democrat. How do you resolve this riddle? Answer below.
-----
It is impossible for a Democrat to lie, therefore a third party was involved who cause the Democrat to mistakenly call the other Democrat a liar. This third party was a "Republican." Democrats are only wrong when Republicans mislead them.

So your whopper was Michael Moore leaving out the word "bonus" in statement in the movie Fahrenheit 9/11. This deluxe whopper has been your only contribution to the discussion. Oh, wait, that and some Yoda-esque wanna-be third-rate off-topic philisophical comment that a six year old could come up while sitting on the toilet?

Remember when nearly everybody (well, not EVERYBODY), even many of the "hollywood liberal elites", believed he was wrong?
OOPS.
It's just a trillion dollars gone, hundreds of thousands of lives destroyed and a disgraced international reputation.....no biggy.
First time I've seen it! Yeah, I heard of it! But, it was the first time I saw it!
Dude! They started to go to commercial before his speech finished! The music started playing and everything! Where the heck is Free Speech!??!?!?!?
On second thought.......you don't got to answer that! Bashing Bush means your unpatriotic and if you support those who do then your unpatriotic!

Dems are out to get GWB right now. They are trying to cut military funding because they don't want him to spend money that they would approve to fund the troops in Iraq. They are playing games instead of actually trying to resolve the situation.

Since you know Michael Moore, I was wondering if he's more into his illegal alien maid since he knows she can't report him, or her 8 year old son?
Do you think the guy's ever heard of a shower?
No doubt he's blown his brain with cocaine. He wouldn't know "truth" if it sat in his lap. He just writes scripts saying Republicans are whatever he wants them to be and edits and splices clips to "prove" his depraven points. Then he waits for liberals who believe whatever a liberal says and the press (same thing) to "defend" him.

Now how many times have I asked you to back up your claims against Republicans and received "pass" every time?
Instead you love the party of the murderer Ted Kennedy who bought his way out of his crime and thinks everyone is stupid because he thinks they believe his flask is full of water instead of Scotch. Then again all you have to do is listen to one of his drunken ramblings on the Senate floor, like the one you posted on the minimum wage to know the guy is lit.

My bad, sorry. I'll be serious now.
