Guy has great ball skills, and is very physical. Only question i had was speed but he ran a 4.39 at the combine. Definitely didnt do well against Ted Ginn or Dwayne Jarret but who did really. I don't know if he's 6 good though and im not sure how far the skins could trade down and still get him. 4.39 is pretty damn good. Could be a good option if the skins address the DE position in FA, otherwise he will be useless like Carlos. Physical corners don't help when the qb has all day to throw the ball.

I have a problem and I want to know if others feel the same way as I do. I think rogers is considered a physical corners but on obvious passing downs I think he plays way too far off the line of scrimmage, he gives a huge cushion. These are the plays he gets beat and it pisses me off. On the other side of the coin, I am a Mich alum and huge fan. I don't want leon hall. Another guy who plays way too far off any good wr. He was giving Jarett and Ginn ten yard cushions consistently, guys who are good with the ball in their hands. I like getting in wrs faces and I dont think rogers does it enough

You know I thought the same thing but maybe I am looking at it too simply. The skins don't really disguise their blitzes, they show it pretty hard which looks dumb with rogers 10 yards off the ball. He looks like he gets lost out there a little and doesn't realize the cushion he is giving. Maybe it is Williams not having faith in him than it is all GWs fault but I think it is a little of both

Where you line up on defensive seems to put you at a disadvantage by you being so far off of the line of scrimmage, is this where Coach Williams wants you to lineup or is it more of your own comfort level?

Great research. Sounds like a real lack of confidence on GW's part in Carlos. GW has to learn how to let these young kids play and not limit them

I am pretty sure greg williams knows Carlos' strengths and weaknesses better than we do, plus Carlos even says he was playing off at times to prevent the big play of a deep ball, I would say recognizing a weakness and addressing it is pretty important.
