Why does Madden require you to carry 8 offensive linemen on the team?
Is there even one NFL team who has 8 offensive linemen on their team? I can't remember a time the Redskins did... right now on their roster they have 7 (not including Ethan Albright.)
It's annoying to play franchise and have to carry unneeded extra linemen. If a guard can play center as well, there's no need for a backup center.

Oops, I was mistaken in the number, it's 10 they make you carry.
5 starters and 5 backups.

Yeah, no kidding either. I have yet to figure out why Madden hasn't adjusted the rate at which injuries happen; I turn them off in franchise mode because it's the only way to have a realistic season.

Well. . . .no. . . . .I was speaking more to the computer series, which I'm more familiar with. My brother has a 360 and said that injuries are still a problem.

I did know this, but only found it out recently.
It's so silly too, because I have known about it for years on the NCAA games, but never tried it for Madden.
As a rule I never draft DE's and I don't pay too much attention to linebackers... since the chase and tackle is my best drill.
This is also off topic... but I suck at the QB Pocket drill on PS2... I mean, I can only get gold on the Pro level and that is it... anyone have any tips?
