how good will our d-line and linebacker be?

Talk about the Washington Football Team here. Do you bleed burgundy and gold?

Post by redskinz4ever »

iam new to this site, not being a redskin fan.iam a little worried about our d-line and the production out of our linebackers.do not miss understand iam a big fan of our linebackers and yes our defense is totally different than last years :D yet with no one to protect our linebackers how are they going to be free to make plays?my last question is do we need DT or FS?

Hey new guy. Feels like my first post was yesterday and today I'm nearing a hundred.

You'll find that there's a lot of talk about our #5 pick out there. And though Taylor looks great, is a monster and I wouldn't mind if we picked him up I still think that you build your team through the offensive and defensive line. I would like to see us trade down, pick up Udeze and some more picks.
Touchdown, Washington Redskins...

DT definitely :) But that is just my opinion. You'll find a lot of people who want a safety without giving Iffy or Matt a chance under a real coach

Sure we would get a stud with the #5 pick, a possible Pro Bowler...but it would be wise to work out a trade with New England.

New England has 2 first round picks and they desperatly want a top RB (Jackson or Jones). If they traded up to ur #5 and gave us their 2 low round picks...and maybe even a 3rd or 4th too then we could pick up a D-Tackle like Wilfork OR Dockett....and a D-End like Udeze or Ball or Hall, etc.

either way we can't lose, that is the good thing about having the #5 overall pick.

Also...I think Iffy and Bowen will play great this year under Williams....George Edwards was out of his league last year as DEF Coordinator.

Im new to this site my first post ever my imput on the draft would be that unless we can work out a trade with new england that would give us two first rounders then we have to take taylor yes our d-line still needs some help but when a player of taylor's caliber is available you have to take him plus our secondary is not as strong in my opinion as most would think i mean lets be real shawn springs although good is NO champ bailey
HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!!!
