I think this was the best thing for him. He wasn't recovering correctly and it's been 8 months.

I bet the owner got what they wanted from him anyway...if you know what I mean?

They were spending all that money for him to be a pet.

Too bad! I don't know about you, but I have spent countless dollars to ensure the health of my "pets". I know I haven't spent near the amount of money that Barbaro's owners spent, but I don't have the resources they do either. Who's to say that we (as pet lovers) wouldn't spend that kind of money to save our pets' life if money was as plentiful to us as it was to them?

Legendary Horse. Im not much of a horse race guy but Barbaro was something special. No doubt. Rest in Horse heaven...
