I'm sure if I had said in the middle of an unrelated conversation, "How else are you going to defend your home when the IRS and all the colored folks come knocking?" you would have taken it as "in jest" and not as calling you racist, which is a typical liberal sanctimonous debate tactic. When you're losing and you know it, start with the isms.

You say I finally knew something. Let's recap what you didn't know. Note I actually provide content, not general ambigous claims, though you probably can't help that as you are a liberal.

1) You thought the Fair Tax was a flat tax. It is a national sales tax.

2) You thought Libertarians are anarchists. Libertarians believe in maximizing liberty by only having goverment perform roles that only government can perform. Defense, police, the courts, roads, ... Anarchists believe in literally no government.

3) You thought in Chappaquidick Ted Kennedy was accused of having drivin into the water on purpose. Actually he is accused of leaving the scene and going home leaving her to die, which is supported by her having exphixiated rather than drowned.

4) You didn't know anything about the Clarance Thomas hearings and you think since he's black he has a large pecker

5) You do not think telling someone they are afraid "colored" people will come to their door is saying they are racist

6) You do not think telling someone they think Jews have tails is telling them they are anti-Semetic

7) You don't know what a survivialist is. I complimented you when you made the connection between survivalists and Michigan, but it turns out I was premature becuase you thought survivialists are afraid of black people. They are actually afraid of government.

Bush, actually, is no real conservative, but rather a fascist/vandal/crook/liar/nut jobl who has sacked the treasury for the benefit of his friends; most of the real conservatives I know are abandoning the Republican party and either finding no place to go or finding a conservative niche in the Democratic party-- Jim

I think it's truly sad that so many people in this country in the right and the left are so lost in partisan politics rather than debating and learning anything. They are sanctimonious about their own pathetic party and demogogging the other.

The battle of the parties isn't a battle between good and evil. It's between dumb and dumber. And yet they are both better than almost all the alternatives around the world.

Here's a neat trick for you. We clearly would agree on despising the religious right who believe they should be dictating to the rest of us to live our lives according to their principles.

Take the most nutty right wing nut job you can find. A real Pat Robertson type, thinks God reports to him and God is not allowed to "save" anyone without his personal approval.

Now, replace the word "God" with "Democrat", "Satan" with "Republican" and "church" with "government." Now, look closely and what do you see?
