Colts knock off Ravens 15-9
I just watched the game and the Colts, even though they looked awful, looked a lot better then Baltimore. Indy's defense came up today. For whatever reason Baltimore only ran the ball 19 times to 29 passes. I didn't understand that one but what can I say. I'm no coach.

Among the reasons in my view.
1) Baltimore has penis envy over the DC area. DC is far smaller and yet gets all the attention. They hate everything DC, particularly our teams. I never understood why they felt that is odd considering DC is the Nations Capitol, but it is what it is. Some old timers hate the Wizards for taking them (called the Bullets then) from Baltimore to smaller DC. If you're from Baltimore you wouldn't expect DC fans to like your teams and if you're from the DC area you get sick of the whiney Baltimorons.
2) In baseball, the Baltimore Orioles blocked DC from having a team the last couple decades. Actually only a fraction of their fans were from DC, it seemed to be more a chance more to screw DC then really fear losing the ticket sales.
3) The Ravens is probably the worst team name ever adopted by a professional team and their uniforms are butt ugly. Their biggest name player is a thug (I don't mean just on the field).
Personally, instead of resenting DC I think they should go out and do something themselves to earn attention. What famous places do you think of in Baltimore? What big historical events? What companies are based there? What shopping or entertainment districts? You have the Inner Harbor (ooooohhhhhh). They should rename it Loserville.

Oh...and you forgot their Fans are almost as obnoxious as Philly fans.... especially when they come to Fed Ex and proclaim that it's "their house". Screw the Ravens and fans. I'm glad the Colts beat them yesterday. Now we don't have to see all that purple. Funny how we don't see it when they are having a rotten season. (I saw lots of burgundy and gold this year regardless of our record !) I wore my Raven' shirt yesterday - it said "THIS IS REDSKIN COUNTRY".

I don't have much in the way of hatred for the Ravens, I was pulling for them. I was really baffled by some of the decisions Billick did and did not make, i.e. the choice to simply let the clock run out in the first half with two time-outs left. Additionally, McNair seems to be a much better passer when he is moving yet the Ravens didn't seem to have any plays designed to get him rolling out to his right.
RIP Sean Taylor
When the Ravens first came to Baltimore I was happy for the city and it's fans. That quickly changed, the fans are a lot like Philly fans rude and obnoxous.
I've heard more than once, that with the Redskins out of the playoffs, Washington fans wanted to adopt the rasins as their team and we were all bandwagon fans.
This weekend was great watching the arrogent players and fans get beat.

We saw more people sporting Redskins Jerseys, shirts, etc...in the grocery store on Saturday then we did Ravens clothes...
I actually said "next year" to one of my fellow fans wearing his Redskin Shirt and he said...I'm wearing this because I'm soooo sick of seeing all these people in these Ravens jerseys. I'm thinking everyone felt the same. There was a lot of us wearing our colors this weekend and it wasn't PURPLE.

And isn't it amazing that all the purple car flags and MAGNETIC Raven signs have disappeared from the cars this morning?????

Hip Hip Hooray!!!

Apparently Peyton Manning said that, while his team bus rode into the stadium, he had never seen so many middle fingers before.
Stay classy Baltimore.

Hating the Ravens is definately a Maryland thing. I hate them because I know so many people who were Redskins fans until the year the Ravens won the Super Bowl, it's not even funny. Now they all talk about how much better the Ravens are and how the Redskins suck and these are the "die-hard" Redskins fans I knew growing up.
I hate fair weather fans, and just about all Ravens fans are just that.
