So things aren't always what they seem

1nik, I was looking for the Portis interview all night, where'd you get it? Good find my man.

For the most part, I concur with CP on some of the issues. I really admire him for his self-confidence ("I could go down to Mexico to play soccer, and still get it done" --- classic!!), his "my word is bond" mentality ("I'm from the south...'Mississippi's finest'"
), and his desire to light a fire under everyone's butt. However, I think he shared entirely too much "insight" (as Doc Walker calls it
-- I call it dirty laundry, which, boys and girls, should ALWAYS be washed in house), for players to trust him as a leader again.

I'm not saying he's a lost cause, or that he's no longer a "core Redskin", but he did do his best Lavar impersonation in that interview and inadvertently (perhaps not?) distanced himself from this team and its coaching staff.
I loved the piece about David Patten and Ryan Clark.
Don't get me wrong. CP is a baller and a beast, but he should consider stepping away from such interviews next year. That way, he'll avoid throwing his teammates under the bandwagon (came dangeroulsy close, IMHO).

1. Gibbs does the running game and Saunders does the passing game
8. Said some of the coaches on offense don't talk to each other. Only a matter of time before it blows up. Says him and Saunders don't talk to each other. Says everyone isn't on the same page.
9. Doesn't understand why he isn't involved in the passing game.
10. Wants to run the ball downhill, not side to side.
