It's not. But what I said was "Certainly it's possible but it seems highly unlikely someone would move here out of state and sign up for higher taxes and a long commute in exchange for nothing."
Let's say he lives in Potomac, which is a nice area and about as close to Virginia as he can get. To get to Redskin park you have to drive to the American legion bridge, crawl to the Dulles access road. Hopefully you're generally going against traffic after that but you're still going to hit delays before you get to Redskin park. I see someone said he lived in McLean, which would make sense.
If LaVar lived in Annapolis and drove it every day maybe that's why he never had time to learn the defense.

I think finding a good running back is one of the easiest positions to fill on a team. If we are going to trade him lets do it now while we can still get someting good for him
I dont' get this endless Portis speculation.
First of all, we need him. Betts is a nice #2 punch but no Portis and so far can't hold onto the ball. I want Portis in when a Betts fumble would cost us the game.
Second of all, we signed him to a big contract with lots of bonus (i.e., Cap hit if we trade/cut him) and you don't do that for a guy you're not planning to keep. He ran for 1300 and 1500 yards and this year showed a lot of heart hurting himself on the first play of exhibition and coming back while the shoulder never healed. Why would we WANT to trade him? And how moronic would our front office be to get a guy we need and trade him anyway taking a big cap hit?
It makes no sense, why do people keep talking about this?
