I though he was coming back a week ago now I'm leaning the other way.
He's due a option bonus of $5M in March so it won't take long to find out but why didn't Gibbs give a definate answer to the question?

Definately a key off season decision. From what I have read, this is my prediction.
We will not pay the bonus, which guarantees I believe 3 years worth of salary. He will have the choice of playing presumably on special teams or negotitating a release. we will negotiate poorly and overpay him to leave rather than risk his staying and keeping the money but at least he will be gone.

- but I am hoping that something will happen to keep this guy here and we will see him play with the ability that got him the type of salary we paid him for - this is a business and hopefully we can in this case re-coup some of that for which we have already paid.
This "situation" is not over yet IMHO - I must admit, it does not look good but I have a feeling that this might be turned around.
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance

It's not that simple because of the bonus, which if we don't pay turns into guaranteed salary. It sounds like they are going to have to sit down and work it out somehow.
