After all, two teams starting out with 4-7 records have made it: Didn't the 1996 Jacksonville Jaguars and the 1995 Detroit Lions each win their final five games to finish 9-7 and make it into the playoffs?
Okay, okay....I'll put down my beer and eventually come back to reality.
