Falcons | Hall claims Owens spit at him Sat, 16 Dec 2006 21:17:47 -0800
The Associated Press reports Atlanta Falcons CB DeAngelo Hall claims Dallas Cowboys WR Terrell Owens spit at him on the third play of the Week 15 game when Hall was jawing relentlessly at Owens. "He had a lot of words. I didn't. I just wanted to come out and prove I'm a guy to be reckoned with," Owens said.
Owens admitted that he did it during a postgame interview on NFLN. T.O. said that the move was made in response to constant verbal badgering from Hall during the game, and from Hall's boasting that he "shut down" Owens during a 2005 game in which Owens had more than 100 yards receiving.

When you reach the end of your rope, tie a knot in it and hold on....
I find this ironic considering that just last night I read part of the first chapter of his new autobiography that "misquoted" him.
He started off his book by describing how he fell asleep on his school bus one day with his mouth wide open. There was a "bully" on the bus that went up to him and hocked loogey into his mouth and he didn't know about it until he got home.
You think he would have learned from something like that and understand how horrible it is to spit on someone. Guess not.

I hope the NFL suspends him for 3 games or more - actually if Parcells has any guts (pardon the pun) he would suspend him too.
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)
It'll be interesting to see how skins fans react to this, lets not forget our beloved Sean Taylor spit all over Pitmann. I dislike Hall (arrogance) and I dislike Pitmann (wife beater) but nobody deserves to get spit on.
$35,0000.00 fine - The NFL apparently thinks that this incident was a little worse in that Taylor was fined $17,000.00 - make that more than twice as bad.
I also find this act absolutely uncalled for and really am kind of sorry that they do not suspend players for this.
