Betts is on fire!
People may not remember exactly what you did
or what you said....
~BUT~
they will ALWAYS remember how you made them feel.

Betts is having a season similar to Larry Johnson last year. In a smaller scale however.

If you want a silver lining to the 2006 season:
He is wearing #17 in white right now.
We finally have a QB.

He was obviously down before the ball came out. These referee's better not give the ball to the Saints.

Maybe Spurrier actually got one thing right when he drafted Betts in 02.

I heard that Cerrato was the one who wanted Betts.

I agree. We should seriously take a look at Betts as a starter and not just automatically slate him as a back up. Baltimore passed up on Prest Holmes because they had Jamal Lewis. Brian Westbrook was playing behind Duece Staley and even Larry Johnson was playing behind Priest Holmes. You never know, we might have a gem sitting on the bench.

Thats why I feel with our season in garbage time that we need to start more of our depth guys. We may have a start and will never know.

Honestly it is because they are a bad team. Only bad teams choke in the redzone. Only bad teams get consecutive offsides calls and botch snaps in the redzones. Good teams don't do that, only bad teams do.

I'll take the all around game of Portis over Betts. Plus, the O-Line blowing teams up.
Most importantly, the super millionaire better be what the offense is built around.
