hey guys saints fan here
Just wanted to get you guys take on this weeks game! If im not in the right forum please excuse me and direct me to right one. I for one am not taking this one lightly. I never bought into all the cowboys hype and dont think they are the team everyone thought they were. It concerns me that you guys beat them twice, something Ny couldnt do. im also concerned about our focus after a big win any Thoughts?

Much as I wish we beat them twice, that's not the case, at least this year.

Welcome CC39 and congrats on a great game last night, and the season your having... the Saints are fun to watch. You right you shouldn't take this game lightly. This game has all the making for a "trap" for the Saints. But I think there's two reason you win the game. First if you win you clinch...Payton doesn't have to say much more then that during the pre-game speech.
Second...and it kills me to say this, the Redskins are a team you can beat even when your not playing your best game as evidenced by our last three loses. Good luck the rest of the way out!

Welcome to the boards, ccase39.
And as for my thoughts on the upcoming matchup... I think you're going to see something close to what you saw last night.

Welcome to the board! I'm a die hard skins fan, but I know that Reggie and Duece will have a field day against our D! I don't think drew will throw the ball alot......he won't need to!
But if by some miracle we actually beat you guys! I will go streaking!!!!! I just hope it won't be to cold outside! I wouldn't want to embarrass myself!

Yes, I am also torn on my fantasy team. I have Brees and Henderson both starting on my fantasy team. I think I may just have to sit them out of loyalty to my Skins but it is a hard decision to make. I want to sit them in hopes that the Skins can shut them down
Hey it could happen......right?

Man it must feel good to be a SAINTS fan going into this weekend's game.
NOLA, Drew Brees, Reggie Bush, Sean Payton. I'm not sure there is a team in the league who deserves their success more right now. Good luck!

Saints 49 Skins 12. But, we play the NFC South next year (I think) and we will get you then. Until then, have fun in the playoffs.

The Saints, I will be rooting for them after this weekend.
I feel that with everything that happened their last year they could be this seasons team of destiny. My other sporting love is St Helens RLFC, aka The Saints.
I love watching New Orleans this season and we have had quite a few of their games shown out here. Brees is superb and uses all the other talent at his disposal spreading the ball everywhere.
Their play calling is superb and they way they completely dismantled Dallas was superb. The sight of Bill Parcells stood shaking his head with his jaw hanging open completely at a loss as to what he should do next. That made my season.
I would love to see the Saints against the Chargers in XLI that would be superb.

Thanks for the kind words, Skins fans. After 40 years of "Mediocrity" I think we finally deserve something pleasant, and this year has been a treat. I haven't seen the Redskins except for the Dallas "One untimed play" game, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Can you give us a rundown on strengths/weaknesses?

Biggest weakness, IMO, is pass defense. Carlos Rogers is average right now and Springs seems to be a step slower due to his injury. Taylor will gamble alot, and if he is wrong you can get off a big play. Young QB still, but he has nothing to lose at this point in the season, so he could be in for a big game. I think Betts can run on you guys, but I am not sure if our lack of a passing game will slow him down.
Taylor and Landry will take no Prisoners!! - I just can't bring myself to delete it!

Strengths would have to be our running game and our young quarterbacks arm.
Betts will run on you this game! You won't be able to stop him unless you force us out of the run by scoring fast and early.
Our quarterback can stretch the field very well and with the Wide recievers we got you can never relax out there. He can fit the ball in some VERY tight spaces and he scramble to buy some extra time and pick up first downs on 3rd and long, but on the flip side of the coin our weakness is our young quarterback he's been throwing some interceptions lately that a quarterback with experience wouldn't have thrown.
Biggest weakness is our run defense, unless we play Dallas of course!

Second biggest weakness has to be Carlos Rogers........that guy gets burned on pump fakes and double moves at least once a game.
