Its pretty bad, but it can change in a hurry, so you gotta keep the faith......starting game 1 next yr.....Campbell looks solid for a guy with no experience.....as bad as he was in the 1st half (and the 2nd INT really was a horrid play call and not his fault) , he led this team back and to do that so early is a positive sign. And Betts is legit it seems so we may need to ship Dolemite Jenkins for some draft picks.....who knows....it sounds crazy but we have a Gibbs back in place and a seemingly competent QB. Now all we have to do is change about 9 of the 11 on defense and we;ll be SB bound next yr.
I think we all saw how bad the Saints were last year - that turnaround is just fantastic - 34 new players from last year's squad.
I think with the next few games here we are going to see some players trying to be considered for this team next year and some will just be playing for a check. Gibbs wants players who want to be a part of this team and want to play and practice with intensity.
Our offensive line showed some decent moments yesterday and with Betts and Portis we have 2 very good backs. Obviously we have some adjustments and additions needed on defense and we can be a very good football team. We are a lot better now that the Saints were at this stage last year.
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

i agree. there was some BS going around that his release was too slow but i dont beleive that, they shouldnt mess with his release either. he's the future

As bad as we may be this year, and even though we are 1-3 under Jason's leadership, I have more confidence in my team that I did before. Assuming we figure out a way to rush the passer next year, I think we could surprise a lot of people.

Looks like they want to modify his release in the offseason. From today's Post....
Campbell is so good, Saunders said, that he has been able to rely on his ability instead of his technique. But reaching the next level, Saunders said, will require sharper technique on Campbell's part. Saunders wants Campbell to see the game faster, to read defenses and release the ball faster. He said he wants Campbell to shorten his delivery, tighten his mechanics and see the game as a sharp NFL quarterback.

At the game on Sunday I was sitting way up high so I could see all the plays developing. There were at least four times I can think of that if Jason had a quicker release he could have hit receivers deep. In the NFL receivers are only open for a second or so. I think he will get that as he learns.
At this point , i believe in the opposite of anything Al Saunders says....the quicker we get him out of here, the better off we will be. Of all the bad moves this offseason, he ranks right up there with AA. So him pointing out flaws with Campbell means nthing to me. Did you see that pass to Randle El for the TD? I think thats all you need to really see to understand JC has a future in this league. His development will take a while but how much better is it to at least watch a competent. mobile guy back there......as hard as it is to keep watching debacle after debacle week after week due to coaching, playcalling, penalties or most often our porous D, it is really good to see that JC will be ready to step up bigtime next yr.....his first two games compared to Jay Cutler's first two makes JC look like the next Elway.....i think alot of people don;t realize how hard it is to pick up the speed of this league and if only Campbell were in a month sooner who knows if the season might have turned out differently....if my aunt had testicles, she'd be my uncle folks....at least we beat Dallas!!! As bad as we are, we still beat Dallas in heartbreaking fashion baby!
Vince Young and the Titans looked pretty bad at the begining of the season too. Look at them now ...
Many AFC teams are -lucky- that they are out of the playoffs.
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!
