COWBOYS GETTING WHUPPED!!!!!!!!!!!

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Post by JPM36 »

Damn the Saints are absolutely whalloping the Cowboys.

Roy Williams has been beat for big plays more times than I can count and Tony Romo looks like a guy whose making his 7th start.

And I love it!!

This game just made my day a little better. Nothing like seeing the Girls crash and burn in front of a National Audience. I almost can't wait to he Mike & Mike eat crow tomorrow morning. If you left it up to them Romo was the second coming of Joe Montana.
Well what more would you expect out of the "Worst Team" in the "Best Division"

Hell yeah, that Dallas secondary just got exposed .... I doubt we'll see PT42 around here telling us how much better Roy Williams is than Taylor any time soon. Additionally, you're exactly right about Romo, if not for a fluke play he'd have 3 picks and NO touchdowns meaning JC played BETTER yesterday. You see that Boswell, you idiot?

My thoughts exactly. What happened last time we visited a team with a strong passing game (Indy)? Our secondary's going to have its hands full next week.

Yes, but doubtful Bledsoe could've done much better. They had to go with Romo.

I didn't make that argument, I'm simply referencing Boswell's column where he told us how much better Romo is and how his development isn't comparable to Campbell's

That was there way of saying, Cowboys #1, Romo #1?

You guys suck, look at the score.

LOL

Game was good, but you know whats going to be the comedy part, you watch us beat the Saints. It happens all the time with us, we lose to someone we should beat, and someone who should kill us we beat. Guess well have to wait and see.

Roy's still better

No, seriously, that sucked. Just a great gameplan and attack by Payton and he tore the D up like he knew everything about them, and how to destroy them.

But then, that's probably because he actually does.

Yeah, I'm very disappointed, but if anything, a game like that serves as a wakeup call. They're basically in with 1 more win anyway.

Better to get the whupping last night than in Week 17 or something like that.

And yes, I broke my remote control.

Drew Brees is amazing. Wow is all I can say to that performance.

If the Skins had signed Brees instead of Archuleta and Lloyd they probably would be on their way to a bye themselves. I was so impressed with that guy last night and it looks like Bush is starting to put it together.

Yesterday was a terrible day for the Cowboys and their fans, but I think Dallas fans should find solace in the fact that they aren't Texans fans.

How ridiculous is that Houston had a choice between Reggie Bush OR Vince Young and they chose.... NEITHER????

Unbelievable... both those guys put on an asbolute show yesterday in TEXAS haha.

As for the eternal Taylor vs. Roy debate.... I have watched every Redskins game this season and I have been subjected to every Cowboys game this season beside 2 by my count...

Sean Taylor has been beat many times this year. I will not argue with that. He hasn't been beat as many times as Carlos Rogers... but he has been beat.

Having said that, there is absolutely no WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY he has been beat as many times as Roy Williams. Absolutely no way.

No way.

No.

Way.

You can say it all you want Cowboys fans, but it just isn't true.

From what I've seen, neither one of them should be in the Pro Bowl this season, although I'm sure Roy will go.

I can somewhat agree, except for the fact that I don't believe you can not cover and have 5 picks in 13 games.

Especially from the strong safety position. I don't care how bad the throws are, because that's generally what INT's are - bad throws.

Nearly every DB can attest to that.

But that's not the point.

Payton kicked our butts. He made Zimmer (Who does the defensive playcalling) look like a JV coach.

Parcells screwed up too in abandoning the run too early.

Reggie Bush is the Truth.

I never said Roy hasn't made any plays this season in coverage.

I said he has been beaten more times than Taylor. That's just a fact. I've watched just about every game both the Redskins and Cowboys have played this season and Roy has been beaten on big plays more times than Sean has.

I do believe someone here said Romo would eventually stink up the joint though he can hardly be blamed for that loss. It'll be interesting to see how he responds to that game next week, BIG game. I wish the Redskins were playing in one.

But that's just how Roy Williams functions. Sure, he gets picks because he'll step up and make plays. Also (for example), no one on this site is claiming that Roy can't hit hard. . .we know that he hits hard. It's just that he whiffs about a quarter of the time, hits about half, and hits late the other 25% of the time.

This is why I (and I think many on this site) actually look forward to going against Roy Williams when Dallas week rolls around. Perhaps you can name a Redskin that Roy has injured but I can't think of a single one. I also can't remember a single Redskin getting aligator arms around Roy. OK, so maybe he hits hard. . .but I don't think it affects the play of our TEs and WRs.

And when it comes to game breaking situations, Roy isn't known for making the game-winning INT, but rather watching Moss from behind. . .twice. . .on the same play. . .with under 4 minutes in the 4th quarter. . .on MNF. . .on Dallas' homecoming 'ring of fame' night. . .in the season where we edged you for a playoff spot by a game. . .

The only time a Redskin really has to worry about Roy is when they're running down the field and they have to think "Is that guy who's chasing me going to horsecollar tackle me late after I'm already in the end zone?"

The Cowboys are who we thought they were.
It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom – for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.
