Well, as a fellow Albemarle High School graduate, I am sorry that things didn't work out for Novak in D.C. You know a team is in dire straits when it's on its 3rd kicker of the year with four games to go. What a disaster of a year.

I would not be opposed to the Skins signing a name kicker in the offseason... just like I wish they had done this offseason...

Also, speaking of special teams... why is Todd Sauerbrun not a Redskin? Did someone else sign him?

Kinda feel bad for the kid. I mean, I do understand why they got rid of him, but at the same time, I dont see why they did what they did (Picking him up to kick). You cant expect a kicker whose been out of football for almost 2 years to come back and kick like he was just playing yesterday, it just doesnt happen.
