Cottage Cheese Dip

Post by InsaneBoost »

I dont exactly remember where my parents got this, all I know is it has been my favorite dip for the past couple of years. Pretty good if you ask me, dont eat it to fast though, could make you have a stomach ache.

What do you need?

Two 24oz containers of Cottage Chesse
Mayonnaise
Tablespoon
One packet of Ranch Salad Dressing Mix (Dry) - See Image HERE
Bowl
Doritos - a bag or two depending on how many people.

Alright, heres what you do.

Poor the two containers of cottage cheese in the bowl

Add two tablespoons of mayonnaise

Add one pack of the Dry Ranch Salad Dressing Mix

Stir together untill blended together.

And you're done!

I usually make this the day before the game, that way the dip is nice and cold.

Also, if the mix taste to ranchy, you can always add more mayonnaise, but dont add to much, wouldnt want it to taste to mayonnaise

Eat the Doritos with the Dip during a game, guarantee to taste good.

Congratulations on starting what I believe to be our very first cottage cheese dip thread.

Will this be the first in an occasional series of cullinary offerings? :)

I dunno. Isn't against the law to eat something so low in fat and so good for you while watching football?

Is this the right thread to bring up my mother's recipe for spotted dick once more?

Not a traditional sporting food, but good for the bowels you know.

That's two threads in the last 24 hours that I've used the word bowels. Am I obsessed?

I'm sure you've googled worse. Personally, I've always been offended by cottage cheese. :puke:

Oddly enough, I received a can of Heinz Spotted Dick for my birthday (yes, in a can). From my brother-in-law. Makes me more than a bit uncomfortable, to be honest.

"Spotted dick" sounds bad enough on it's own, but why you would want it anywhere near you bowels is beyond me.
