Don't be surprised if this turns into a "homer" pool but, honestly, of the options...Portis is clearly the best choice. Meshawn will do okay in Dallas but Parcells will probably bench him by week #6. Ter-smell will be asking for the ball in week #3 and McNabb is gonna shove it up his...well, you know. Sapp will fall down on his fat butt during training camp and never get up off of his lazy rear end after eating all of those chicken wings in the offseason.

Sapp will raise his arms once after a good tackle and all of the other players will keel over - the game is called and Warren is politely asked by Commissioner Tagliabue (wearing a gas mask) to go back to playing foosball on commercials for deodorant and killing people there

hmmm.....i smell a slight bias here.....
actually, when i realized that sapp would be playing next to big ted washington, i said "...oh." big ted gets a double team, sapp gets a double team, who's blocking the ends?!? or the blitzing LB? could be a big year for the raiders dline.

Portis will run the ball and I think this willbe a semi-breakout year for Trung if he is not cut.

Totally agree, the double teams that Sapp and Washington will command may make that Raider Dline one of the best next year.
I am a skins fan, but I'm not sold on all of these signings. The have not produced a winner YET! and will need to see Potis in action. He may get hurt in training camp and not play a down.

well the question had to do with which ONE player will have the biggest impact not TWO. i find it hard to believe that any skin's fans would rather have sapp over portis.

I know there were some of us arguing to get Ted Washington for that very reason... can you imagine Washington and Griffin? Now that would have been a beefy combo
We could have been set in the middle and gone with Taylor in the #5 spot then...
Did no one else realize that was Sapp in that Old Spice commercial?

the question was not 'who would you rather have?', it was 'who will have the biggest impact on THEIR team'. i do agree that portis will have the biggest impact for his team, but if ted washington helps sapp get a dozen sacks this year, i'd say that's quite an impact.

i do, actually. if portis goes for 1500 or more, it's tough to argue against him for mvp. i guess i was trying to point out that while sapp's (and washington's) contribution to his team may not be as visible (as in occupying blockers so others can get the sacks and tackles), it could be just as valuable.

MY TAKE ON THAT IS I'VE BEEN GETTING EXCITED EVERY OFF SEASON FOR PLAYERS AND COACHES THAT DIDNT DESERVE IT IN HINDSIGHT BUT, I THINK WE CAN BE SAFE TO LOSE OUR MINDS OVER THE SKINS THIS YEAR....BESIDES COACH GIBBS DESERVES 10 X AS MUCH HYPE THAN SPURRIER RECEIVED......OH!!! AND IT'S MORE OF A POSSIBILITY THAT
WARREN SAPPY WOULD BE HURT BEFORE A 22 YEAR OLD

well warren sapp has about a 4 inch flab shield on all of his bones, while clinton portis has already been injured like 4 times, he will get injured this year thats a guarantee im willing to live with already.. just depends on how bad and when.. im not sold on his durability what soeverOH!!!
