We're still mathematically able to make it.
It makes me sick that we didn't win last week. If we had won (I know, get over it) there would be 6 teams with a better record than us and 5 with the same record (assuming the eagles lose 2nite) That would be doable with 5 games to go. As is, it's going to be really hard to make up 2 games on a lot of teams.
Guess the loss makes us just focus more on each game. However, another loss and we're done.

The funny thing is that with the NFC East Divisional records the way they are at this moment
Dallas 1-3
Giants 3-0
Philly 2-1
Skins 1-3
There is a possiblity although extremly slim that we could end with a better record than the Giants and with more division wins than Dallas. If the planets all align correctly and there is any cool spot in hell we could end up tied (record wise) with Dallas and win the division...
You wanted a long shot so there it was!!

Well what more would you expect out of the "Worst Team" in the "Best Division"

I would agree with that but I also think we will end up 2nd in the NFC East.
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

I think you're right. 4 division winners and 2 wild cards per conference.

I personally believe that if we go 9-7 we will get in as a wildcard.
Is that unrealistic with a young QB, a backup RB, and a defense that has struggled almost every week? Absolutely it is.
But we won 5 games in a row to make the playoffs last season and it was an amazing time I'll never forget, and Joe Gibbs is known for his December magic, and the schedule IS pretty favorable....
And I'm just not ready to start thinking about the draft....

I care about next week. I want to see the offensive line crush someone again. Beyond that? Irrelevant.
Right now, I only hope for a win next week. We can get it but we should not relax for a second. The Falocons have some serious internal issues.
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!
