I wish that football players could play football anymore without having to worry about penalties.

I wish GIbbs and Saunders would realize the NFL is about surprise and the Panthers came in thinking we'd start the kid QB out slowly, run, short pass, short pass...let's give the kid a chance to get the crowd into the game. They're play calling like we're in the playoff hunt.

Let's open this up, get the team pumped up, the kid not nervous, but cocksure...

come freaking on -- quit play calling like a couple old men!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A big part of football is about emotion and they look ready to play today. The best thing to do with the offense is to give them a chance to get the team and crowd going too...

Don't freaking run on 1st down.

Yes - Gibbs used to call loads of them in his first stint.

As long as Al Saunders is running the O, sadly yes

You would think this is Campbells first start with this conservative play calling.

we had our chance to strike first...

here's what's going to happen -- the panthers will score a td, then al and joe come out throwing the ball.

I'd say -- come out and take advantage of our field position and not fall behind...
