I know may be I won't be your friend anymore, but to tell the truth I both hate and love the redskins !! And both hate and love started with one game : SuperBowl against the broncos. Hate bekoz my dear broncos were beaten and I loved Elway, and love bekoz this day THE REDSKINS WERE GREAT ! I think they really were underrated during the season, but they made it. And what a pleasure to see an happy Doug Williams...

Horrible post. I hate the French.

Joke: What do you get when you cross a French man with a Redskin fan?

Well, I was born at DC General in the shadow of RFK, lived 5 minutes away for about 6 years...

My earliest memories were of 'respecting' Dorsett (sorry, but he was good, could sort of root for him when he went to Denver ) but hating Randy White and the rest of the Cows, hating the Niners (can't remember why, still sticks tho), and watching Riggo and the Burgundy and Gold pound their way to an NFL Championship over the Fins. I can remember at 6 yrs old thinking, "This is the way that football is 'sposed to be played, right?"

So I've been a fan of the B&G ever since, have learned to hate anything coming from Dal@$$ irrespective of talent, and continue to believe that a power running game is the way football is 'sposed to be played.
Two formation shifts, one man in motion, and a counter trey...those were the days...

I came out of my Mothers womb wearing a pair of Redskins diapers, Redskins pajamas (the cute ones with the slippers already attached) and a Redskins ski cap. And, as soon as the Doctors spanked me, instead of crying, I sang "Hail to the Redskins".

Apparently, my Father laid down a set of rules if he was to get married. One of those rules was that if they had any children, that they had to be Redskins fans. So, here I am. And PROUD of it!
Sit back and watch the Redskins.

SOMETHING MAGICAL IS ABOUT TO BEGIN!

I don't know when I became a Redskins fan... I know it was before my first trip to Grifith Stadium, and it probably had something to do with my Mom's fanaticism. I remember, vaguely, Eddie LaBarron. I remember Vince Promuto, Bobby Mitchell, Norm Snead, Lenny Haus, Charley Taylor, Jerry Smith, Chris Hanburger, Sam Huff (PLAYING!!!), Sonny (PLAYING!!!), Brig Owens, Pat Fischer, Mike Bragg, Mike Bass, Larry Brown, Charley Harraway, Rusty Tilman, Jack Pardee, Ritchie Pettibon, Kenny Houston, Charley Gogolak... I even remember Joe Don Looney. Make it stop... PLEASE!!! MAKE IT STOP!!!!!

My last answer for ya, oafusp : Go to the "Ricky Smith" topic and ya'll see what kind of Redskins fan I am (about your answer in my "Redskins RBs" topic). And for this one, nothin' to say... Happily I got friends in USA who make me sure american are fine and intelligent people, bekoz if I had to judge all america by reading ya, what could I think ?Ho ! a question : Do you know how many time did the Great Joe Theismann pass for more than 3000 yards in a season ? me, I know. Coz I'm a Redskin fan. Nothin' else to say.

:moon: <- for ya, oafsup, with all my french love.
