I do NOT blame our back 4 this year...they worry that their front 7 won't make a play or tackle so they're covering the entire freaking field.

I agree. We need some D-tackles and D-ends that can get a pass rush and take on blockers on running plays

Rogers is such a waste. Look at Springs..when he gets a chance at an INT he gets it.

or what you said....

they will ALWAYS remember how you made them feel.

No reason to push it. We get the next kickoff. Although it would be nice to see more than 64 yards for the half.

64 yards stinks but we aren't running it well and we only had 19 plays

I notice Griff isn't in the game, is he inactive? When he doesn't play we don't have good interior dline play.

I'm possibly the only guy on this board that doesn't think AA is a problem. Give us a better pass rush, give us a good solid mlb and play rocky (he's gotta be better than Holdman) and AA becomes a guy that isn't asked to cover guys all the time. He can roam around and disrupt, blitz, cover for runs that get beyond the front 7, etc.. He was, and is, NOT a cover safety...he's probably no slower than Lynch on Denver but they cover his slow of foot weaknesses by getting a rush and not requiring him to cover a lot. He plays smart, hits hard, does the stuff a good defense wants.

I think the money we gave him is a problem. That's money that could be used for a great pass rusher. Definitely o-line and d-line has been horrible. Too many holes everywhere though.

I'm not supporting all the money they threw around but I did hear, the best DE out there was Carter. Teams are getting smart and signing their stud players before they hit free agency.
