i want to know and give me an honest answer, what affect do u think portises injury willl have on campbell, u no by not having a strong and trusty running threat.

With Betts and Duckett starting and Rock backing them up.....I ain't worried about our Running game.

Portis's loss will obviously impact the Redskins offense as he has been the sparkplug that makes the engine run. I think Betts and Cartright can step up and do an admirable job. I also think Duckett can be more effective with more playing time. Portis needs to take the rest of the season off and get very healthy.

I hate to be a wet blanket but I think this year is beyond saving for a post season appearance. By next year, Campbell will have had almost 1/2 of a years worth of experience and hopefully be more up to speed. That is when we will need Portis the most.

as for the effect of portis's absence on campbell, i'm sure it will make it a bit harder but it shouldn't be TOO bad. defenses may not fear them the way they would fear portis, but betts and duckett will still get pretty decent production, and need to be accounted for.
