11/13/06 BREAKING NEWS: Sportstalk 980 just shared a rumor about Joe's upcoming presser. Sources indicate "Ocho" will be replaced this Sunday.

UPDATE TO TAILG8ERS:To make work easier for the volunteer staff at THN, I will not create additional tailg8 threads for the remainder of the season. Each week (as long as Mark remains under center ), I will update THIS thread with an appropriate question. Unfortunately, I can't do a thing about the poll, but I think y'all get the point. Now, someone please help HEROHAMO with the kool-aid keg.

PREDICTION: Mark Brunell will have his best game as a Skin against the Cowpansies on Sunday, and will begin his meteoric ascent back into the ranks of the top QBs in the league.

Absolutely not, because MBrunell is not the future of this team. JC needs to get his practice games on NOW so he can lead us next year. Is there ANY question of our starting QB next year? There definitely shouldn't be.
MB needs to Move Back and JC needs to Just take Charge.

I'm sure that if it's possible to beat the Cowboys with draw plays, 5 yard screen passes, 8 yard pass attempts on 3rd and 10, and 15 yard passes into the dirt, MB is just the guy to do it.

i'm sure mark will have a good game or even a few in the months ahead, if he is allowed to continue. he typically has a good game once in a while. but there is absolutely no way he will play on a high enough level to get this offense where it needs to be on a consistent basis.

don't be deceived- if the defense improves because we finally have springs and rogers out there together, and mark squeaks out a win, it changes nothing. he is still a colossal liability.
