Hmmm....interesting

A Danish court on Thursday dismissed a lawsuit filed by Muslim organizations against the newspaper that first published the Prophet Muhammad cartoons that touched off protests in the Islamic world.

British historian David Irving has been found guilty in Vienna of denying the Holocaust of European Jewry and sentenced to three years in prison.

Funny world we live in. We have people suing over cartoons and another going to jail for having a opinion. Crazy I tell you...just crazy.

Well, denying the holocaust is a specific offence in Austria - they're just a little sensitive about these things over there. It seems like a bizarre law to me, but my perspective is different from this side of the English Channel.

As for the cartoons: I think we did that one to death a while ago - completely bonkers.

Now, if you want really offensive stuff, take a look at this:

To be fair, he apologised, but let's see how many mosques get burned down in protest at his words. I'll take a guess at none - contrast that with the protests against those cartoons.

Thinking, thinking... this is in Australia, right? Don't they have big fish down there? I wonder how he'd feel if some uncovered meat were tied around his neck, and he went for a swim? After all, it'd be the fish's fault if the meat (and the Imam) were eaten, right?

Not condoning violence, just wondering out loud.
