Arrington tears an acchilles tendon.
LaVar Arrington tore his achilles tendon in the MNF game tonight. they just said it's going to require surgery. I guess he's gone for the year. the guy has injury issues, and he always will.
Sit back and watch the Redskins.

Yeah man, I felt pretty bad for him when that happened.
And you knew he knew it too. I mean, remember 3 years ago when Jansen tore his, and he knew right away that he was done for the year. Well, did you see LaVar, he was just pounding the ground and stuff because he knew it was over.
I just feel bad for the guy.

At least, this injury puts an end to the word POTENTIAL associated with his name since he came first to the NFL.

He deserves that and more.joebagadonuts wrote:We can still boo him though, right?
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!
Does any Lavar hater not see the impact he had for this team? How is our defense now with him gone?
If you can't respect the man at least other offenses and his own teamates did!
The former face of our franchise most likely just played the last game of his career due to a devastating injury and all some of you people can do is dump on him.

And you think telling the media that he stole his former teams playbook is classy? I don't think so!
Also, what impact did Arrington have on our defense last year? He barely played and we still had a top 10 defense. The impact players last year were Marcus Washington, Ryan Clark, Corneilius Griffin, Joe Salavea, Springs, etc.... Arrington didn't factor into the equation one bit, so no, you're wrong IMO. Why else did Arrington get an incentive laden contract instead of one that had a ton of money guaranteed?
Fans of the Redskins have every right to dump on him. His sportsmanship and cry baby attitude were nothing but a detriment to this team. His true colors showed, and what goes around comes around.
Our defensive problems have nothing to do with Arrington, good or bad. They're bad without him, and worse with him.
Sit back and watch the Redskins.

I love LaVar and was disappointed to see this injury happen to him just when it looked like he was playing well.
I'm just glad he won't have to go through being booed in Washington in December. That's the only silver lining as far as I'm concerned.

Monday night's game was a snapshot of his career... one or two great plays mixed in with a whole lot of nothing else then an injury...
I love how ESPN had a "how will the Giants replace Arrington" segment... this after their own defensive coordinator said he hadn't figured out how to use Arrington yet... shouldn't be too hard to replace him...

LA was not the reason our defense was as good as it was these past few years. The majority of the time he was inujured and ridin' the pine. The last two years he did nothing but complain about money, all the while trying to come back from an injury. I think we're better off without him. Others like Pierce and Harris were bigger losses than LA was.
