The team addressed its most pressing needs by signing free-agent DT Cornelius Griffin and free-agent DE Phillip Daniels. The Redskins would be thrilled if Williams falls into their lap, and he would top off the offensive overhaul. The team already has added RB Clinton Portis and QB Mark Brunell to incumbent WR Laveranues Coles. If the line plays up to its potential, the offense could be dominant.
I don't see the reasoning here - we have plenty of wide recievers why would we take Williams? Any ideas?
Eli Manning dropping to #3, us taking Mike Williams . . . I don't know, stranger things have happened but I don't see it. If we keep #5 instead of trading down I still think Taylor is the best choice and he would immediately help the defensive.

I suggested this a week or so ago... imagine what we could get for Rod Gardner on draft day...
Mike Williams, Larry Fitzgerald and Roy Williams are all excellent physical recievers and great compliments to Coles... if we got one of them and traded Rod Gardner for defensive help/draft picks we'd be sitting pretty... a lot better than if we traded down that's for sure

Yepper not gonna happen. Taylor, Winslow or trading down.
More than likely Taylor!
