For those fans at home games?
I have tried see as much of the passing attack (if you can call it that) on TV, via TiVo or NFL replay, etc.
However, it is very difficult to see or assess whether MB has men open receiveres down the field (except for Moss). Are they covered well?, or is the line simply not giving him enough time to get rid of the ball? Why can't he see open receivers down field.
So for you fans that are actually there, able to see what options MB has, I'd be very interested in your observations and crtiques regarding this situaition.
Also, how are our DBs/safties playing. I have seen many deep passes that appear to have a lot of "hang time" on them, yet our backfield does not seem to get there on time.
Thanks.

It makes it even easier to see when you attend the games that Brunell lcoks onto moss, or cooley. If those receivers are covered, its a force or a check down to a back. The past Tenn. game the line played pretty well with pass protecting. You would never know this by the way brunell was moving around in the pocket. He was constantly shifting his feet around like he was going to get killed when there wasnt even anyone around him.

I noticed that at the game also. He never looked comfortable even though he had plenty of time to make his throws. It didn't look like he was really stepping into his throws, instead he seemed to be guiding the ball.

Yes, there almost always open. Thrash was open on at least two occasions.....I want to say three. Lloyd was open almost everytime and
ey was open on that.......I think it was a 3rd and 7 during the second quarter. He was also open on that bomb too, but Brunnell over threw him.
As far as the defense..................On that 4th and 2 against the Titans that pass was in lofted over the middle of the field. I saw that replayed on TV and it didn't look as bad on TV as it did while watching it, but either way Wright should have been able to get there and at least knock it down.
In other words we have alot of issues. I need to drink now......
