Can't believe I'm the first to post this

And Griffin and Salave'a are looking doubtful, according to the Post.

Definately not good news, especially when we're playing Indy.
I I think the absence of Griffin and Big Joe was highly under the radar, I mean they are a huge (literally

This doesn't look good.

Hey, Tom Carter was a better corner than Roggers has been this year! I don't think that there is that much of a drop off from Roggers to Wright and Rumph (or Jimoh even) based on the way Roggers is playing this year. Last year he played pretty well, but still was a huge drop from Smoot! It doesn't matter if you can cover a guy if you never make a play on the ball. He will be in perfect possition to defense a pass and either run into the WR (drawing a flag) or never try to knock down the ball. That pass that Bennett caught over him in the 3rd quarter of the Titans game was just horrible. There is NO WAY a half way decent DB lets that ball get completed! He reads WRs like Dexter Manley reads Hemingway.

Well said...all you forgot were his hands of stone.
God bless our troops and Joe Gibbs.
We'll miss you, Joe.

Losing Carlos Rogers doesnt bother me one bit....i think thats good news for us....i have a feeling its gonna be a blessing in disguise....he tackles alot because he allows so many balls to be caught in front of him....none of those tackles are coming up tp a RB abd cutting him down. I'm telling you all....this might be a good thing.
I am going to the massacre in Indy this weekend....anyone got any hope? I just hope we can be competitive and we won't be losing 35-3 at half. It would be nice to get #17 involved....thats for sure.

You are wrong. He has been the one consistant guy who can make a sure open field tackle on our team. Yes he has been out of position on many pass plays and I see him saying to himself "Damn it" but one thing is for certain, he can tackle.

i do not understand why he is being allowed to miss this game. if jon jansen can play with TWO broken thumbs as an offensive lineman, rogers can't play with a broken thumb as a defensive back??
i'm sure it would hinder his tackling ability, but is a 2-handed mike rumph really better than a 1-handed carlos rogers?

sadly i think the answer is yes. rogers has played as poorly as both wright and rumph this season. i was wondering the same thing as you though. i dont see why they couldnt just tape up the thumb and give him a club on his arm. this is the game where we need our corners the most.

i definitely agree that rogers has performed poorly, but i'd like to think he hasn't been as bad as rumph. maybe that's just wishful thinking. though it seems like he is at least occaisonally in position, which sadly qualifies as "outstanding" for our pass D. he would have 5 or 6 interceptions already if he would just learn how to figure out the dang ball is coming!
i was watching the game again yesterday and there's a hilarious clip of him covering... the ball goes over his head for the catch, and then he turns around and jumps and sticks his hand in the air.
