Redskins | Could Trade Down In Draft - from www.KFFL.com
Wed, 17 Mar 2004 09:31:18 -0800

Nunyo Demasio, of the Washington Post, reports sources familiar with the situation said the Washington Redskins could trade down from the No. 5 pick in April's NFL draft and target a defensive end as the team searches for a pass-rush specialist. However, the team could wait for salary-cap casualties after June 1 as well.

I just gonna go out on a limb here and guess that you like Taylor
I have travelled the net and found the Redskins promise land. This is, by far, the best site out there for Redskins/NFL News, Notes, Opinions, and so much more.

I think skins fans will be happy no matter how this plays out. Sean Taylor will bring a lot to a secondary that has several question marks following the departure of Champ and a shaky season by the incumbent safetys. A pass rusher like Udeze or Smith will definitely add depth and dramatically improve the worst D-Line ever assembled from last season. Also, the skins could pick up some mid round picks to draft a TE, DT, etc. by trading down. Either way the FO goes its gonna upgrade the skins chances to be successful. Its just a matter of weighing the options and having everything fit under the rules of the salary cap.

Needle got stuck...stuck...stuck...stuck

Taylor has some issues in my mind... I don't know - can he match up? There are some questions being raised in my mind right now...
