Springs could come to Washington and be as good as bailey.
Kearse could play every game next season and break the sack record....WHo knows.
These reporters who bash the FO or bash New players...Are just looking to sell papers.
Its all about "the papers"!
I have travelled the net and found the Redskins promise land. This is, by far, the best site out there for Redskins/NFL News, Notes, Opinions, and so much more.

hey guys, this is a really well done site. anyways, i just wanted to comment on a couple of things. first, buckhalter isn't going anywhere this year. i do think he's in the dog house with reid, and since he'll be a ufa next year we will draft a rb early. but this year it'll be buck, westy(who is a heck of a lot better than some of you are giving credit for), and whoever we draft. as for our secondary, i really think we'll be good here too. of course we'll miss troy and bobby, but it's not like we didn't have the money to resign them, and since they were let go, i have to trust that lito and sheldon will suffice at the starting spots. anyways, good luck to your team and congrats on getting gibbs back. the east is gonna be the toughest division in the league this year. late.

I am in a complete daze. I normally trash talk ALL eagle fan, and I apoligize for that, Eaglegary. Thank you for the congrats on Gibbs and your vote of confidence on the site. This site kicks complete @ss! It just goes to show with your post. All the other sites would be eating up your words and spitting them right back at ya. That's why I chose this site a week ago.

The scar on my head from the Vet ten years ago is throbbing right now. I'll reserve any platitudes, because that's exactly what it would be.

I think the birds have a real problem at the CB spot. The cornerstone of the Eagles great defense for last couple of years has been having great CBs who could be left out there alone while Jim Johnson could send as many people as he wanted at the QB. They dont have that anymore and even if Lito and Sheldon get better they are still both very small. But i might be wrong because they might have the best Dline in the Nfl next year. The one up we have the Birds is that we have Portis now and stopping the run could be Eagles only weakspot. It will be very tough for the skins to take the division away from the Eagles.
LaVar is the best player in the League.

True about our D against the run.....but don't forget the injuries we had. The Eagles were actually #1 in the NFL the first 3 weeks of the season before the injury bug came crashing down hard. I think they will be better against the run this season.
But the CB position does concern me. It is our #1 priority as far as I'm concerned (now that the WR position has been addressed.). AR has done a great job so far this offseason...and we are still a TON under the cap. We'll see what happens...

Don't you get the feeling that it's too late for that now that all the good corners have already been signed. Isn't bobby taylor the best corner still available and you guys are obviously not going after him. And as far as the draft is concerned i didn't think this is particularly good draft for cb's...but i could be wrong on this one...probably not

Not too late yet. Reporst say the Eagles still have an 'outside' shot at Taylor. But I'm more concerned about getting a veteran CB in for depth...not necessarily a starter. Talyor and Vincent missed more than half the games last year. Sheppard and Brown were drafted early for reasons...to replace Taylor/Vincent. They played most of the season last year...and despite our d-line injuries (and not having Dawkins for 1/2 the year), we still got one step away from the big one (again).
