No but this should be motivating as well...
Brandon Lloyd's comments on his minimal role this week:
"I can think of two numbers that need to be called before my number," Lloyd said. "To make this team as successful as it was last year, the playmakers on this team last year need to get the touches before I do, so I'm not in a position to say anything. I'm not in a position to pout. I'm not in a position to be frustrated, because that's not going to help me when my number gets called."

TO's throwing fits about not getting the ball. Lloyd's saying things like this... That's motivating.

I hadn't seen that Lloyd quote before. I can't help thinking that this guy needs to see a lot more of the ball before the Redskins are consistently successful on offence. We just can't go on by being the Clinton and Santana show.
That quote showed me a lot more maturity than I thought he had though.

Go for the throat!!
I dont like to chime in too often....But once they get there swagger back, it will be OK. They just need to stay focus.

"It's almost like, you play a kid's game for a king's ransom," he said. "And if you don't take it serious enough, eventually one day you're going to say, 'Oh, I could have done this, I could have done that."

good...its nice to see team players on this team doing what they can to win !!
i know lloyd hasn't done much on the field, but his attitude alone has made him one of my favorites on offense. I've seen him sprint 10 yards after the play just to help portis up after a tackle...he's always on the sideline with the biggest cheers and smiles when we score if he's not even on the field. and if that didn't convince me before, those comments definately do show me and should show all of you that he's a team player, and it's only a matter of time that he gets decent touches to start proving he's worth what we gave for him...because i think he is...

I keep trying to tell you how impressed everyone that I know and respect in the media, is with Brandon Lloyd.
This isn't the first time that his ability to be a team player has shone through in a comment either... in fact, it's a regularity.
The guy's just been a GREAT teammate since he got here, and as I've said before... if there was an element of 'bad boy' to him anywhere... nobody in Washington has seen even a glimmer of it. He became a father this offseason, maybe it changed him a little... I can't speak to his behavior in San Fran, I wasn't there... but since he's been a Redskin, the guy has been a model citizen, an exemplary teammate, and under circumstances that would have made it easy to be otherwise.
First class.
I really want to see him be rewarded for his patience and bust a big game.

Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.

Randy Thomas can take his video and shove it. I'm sick and tired of hearing about how they're all in this together and how they're going to fix things. Talk is cheap. Instead of backing it up they go out and get beat by a winless team with a rookie qb. What a joke.

It's difficult to argue with that, even 24 hours later.
