Good luck against the Titans, they played us tough at home and have a hard nosed coach who will never quit! Wait a minute, he punted and we got away with a win we didn't deserve.

Bye weeks suck..

Nope, the way we played in the first half, against the run, and on offense at home was pretty pathetic. You can say that we were probably looking past you guys to the bye week, but we just pretty much sucked balls.

Many of the national media have moved on to their next darlings, the Bears. However, we are not sorry to have a 5-0 record and time to rest before playing the Skins.

Off topic here, do the Skins still have men who wear dresses to the games?

Not that one hurt, if you've never been to the Indy 500, you're certainly missing out on a great time.

Thanks for the tip, I will follow and support our Colts. We played the Tits last week, and you next. I am here to watch, and see..

Yes, the Colts have pulled out some close ones, but didn't they struggle offensively at the start of last year, too? Seems like it takes some time for you guys to warm up. Still, no fan can complain about 5-0. Should be a good match-up against you guys in two weeks. Hope we get our secondary healthy by then, because we're going to need all our starters.

Yes, the Hogettes (men in dresses and pig costumes) are still a stable at games. I believe they're in the Hall of Fame! Our team may be struggling right now, but our fans are still #1!!

Actually, he's just a volunteer enforcing the rules that you don't seem to have the consideration to even look at.

And now you're having a go at the poster himself which we don't allow either. we have a smack forum if you can't confine your posts to a post itself.

The moderator has been more than reasonable in his requests to you and the way he has requested them... simply REEADING the rules here would solve all your problems, so don't get frustrated at someone else for what you're bringing on yourself.

You are honestly very welcome here, but why would we allow you to break rules that the people who use this community every day don't? How is that fair.

The sig rules have been in place for a long time... so have the rules against attacking a poster... so are the rules about animated gifs... so are the rules about links in your signature... don't take this personally... but whining about it isn't going to change those rules.

So you can follow the rules... or continue not to... at which point... you won't get the option because if all you're going to do is keep making work for the moderators, you won't get to post here.

You mean all 15% of them (the percentage of people still with dialup)? And quickly falling.

I still don't get why some message boards cater to 15% of the internet surfers, while they could be catering to 85% of their surfers by enhancing their experience (and having pictures allowed is an example of this).

1. The number is slightly over 20%
2. Those are the rules, additionally, this is not the forum to complain about them

I actually went to the Indy 500 about 10 years ago when I was in college in IN. The first 10 laps were cool - after that the thrill wore off and it was boaring. I also went to a Colts game verse the Skins in 1994 or so and the place was empty. I also don't like how the Colts got to Indy. Oh, and I cannot stand Peyton Manning, or his brother, or his father, or his dog.

Well you can apply internet averages all you like, but unfortunately, it doesn't make those numbers neccessarily true of THNers... and we have a disproportionately high number of overseas users... many of them U.S. military stationed somewhere else in the world.

I hardly think that not having pics in signatures will take away from all of the things that THN offers, but hey, you'e perfectly entitled to feel that way.

This is a message board... not mySpace. In our opinion, it should be about what gets said, not the pretty pictures you put under your posts. You may see it as cheating 85% of some 'total experience', we see it as striving to allow 100% of all Redskin fans to enjoy the same experience.

Just so u know not everyone can get high speed connections. I live out in the country and can only get dial-up and the best i can connect at is 28.8k. i think its great that some boards try to keep that in mind.. so dont be so arrogant just because u have something and think everyone who doesn’t, souldnt deserve the same kind of respect...

Dude, if you are going to suggest that the people who are asking you to follow the rules while posting here are Nazis, at least spell the phrase correctly. It is spelled "Sieg Heil."

I really appreciate the respect given on this site to us hillbillys' still with dial up. Especially now, since at school, where there is a much faster connection, they are actually starting to enforce the "library computers are for research only" policy.

Oh see, and here I got all excited because I thought he was actually seeking heil... and the guy in the picture was pointing which direction it was in... and then I was all proud of myself for having found it for him...

The indy 500 is not about the laps and its not about the cars its about the mardi celebration previous to the race. The women, the beer, and well...more beer and women.

As far as how the colts came to Indy, you just dont understand the true story. You see they came as a bday present to me. I was born and they came. THe dome was easy to get tickets to in the 90's. Things have changed a lot since then. Scalpers are making fat loot and its at least a 4 year wait on season tickets. A waiting list I'm tired of being on. (though its a good thing i still am, cause i cant afford the ticks quite yet)
