I'm not sure what game you guys watched, but I must say I found myself asking "what happened to the redskins I watched for the last two weeks?" during this game.
The offensive game plan seemed to go from dink and dunk, trickeration run plays for 500 yards to run it up the middle run it to the outside 164 yards. Not sure what you think but I always thought if it ain't broke don't fix it!!! We BROKE it!!!
The defensvie game plan went from BE AGRESSIVE, BE AGRESSIVE, B-E-A-G-G-R-E-S-S-I-V-E to I'd rather cover than blitz! My question is cover what???!!!
I love Joe Gibbs, but if he agreed to this game plan, I must question his skills. When you have a team like the Giants realing, you have to attack them...not sit back and wait to see what happens.
Still hopeful in NC!!!

the problem with the gameplan is that it was completely mismatched to the QB we have starting. if they are going to insist on playing brunell, they have to acknowledge that the game needs to be much more limited to the screens and other dinks and dunks. if they want to go aggressive and vertical, switch QBs. don't mismatch the QB and the gameplan.

I was astonished they didn't give dinks and dunks a try. The strategy worked the week before last, and last game not only worked, but also opened up longer shots. This time out, the play calling seemed inexplicable, especially in the second half when the game plan had already proved beyond doubt to be disasterous.

It is a tough week to be a Redskin and a Redskin fan. There are reasons why GW felt he had to play this way. Wright, Rumph and Rogers have not stepped up to the next level. I expected a lot more from Rogers. He has not taken advantage of the opportunity to make a statement. We need a better play from the secondary. EVERY team that won against us discovered this weakeness and took full advantage of it.
