Wide Receivers

They're lining up four deep. There are 13 of them, and more will come from year to year because the numbers will be overwhelming, almost meaningless after a while. I have four names penciled in: Harold Carmichael, Henry Ellard, Michael Irvin and Andre Reed. If I'd have to predict which one will go all the way, I'd say Irvin. Art Monk again will provide spirited debate, for those of us who manage to remain awake throughout this old reprise. Please, Redskins fans, no e-mails at this particular time. Save 'em for January.

I will have to write a Blog or an Exclusive Article to put this clown in his rightful place. I will try to make some time from a very busy scheule but Art Monk is important to me. I also promised JansenFan I would do so.

Just be aware that you're doing EXACTLY what he's counting on you doing RiC.

By mentioning him or his article... even if it's in anger... you're promoting the guy, the article, the site, and the drivel. You'll just be redirecting people's attention to all of the above when you blog about it.

When a guy offers up, 'Please, Redskins fans, no e-mails at this particular time. Save 'em for January,' don't you implicitly know that he centered out Redskin fans to get a reaction out of Redskin fans particularly?

You want to make a point... e-mail him EVERY day he doesn't mention Art Monk... not the days around when he does. Don't link to the article either... if you're going to do a blog and refute points and quote him... put the quote in... accredit the quote and where it's from... but DON'T LINK TO IT.

My 2 cents
Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.

At least we know that they wont be able to refute D Green when his number comes up. To not put Art Monk in the hall is a crime against all that is supposed to be good about the hall.

WHere is the sense is this guys argument for Ellard over Monk?
I really just don't get this anymore.....

Henry Ellard

REC YDS AVG TD

814 13777 16.9 65

Art Monk

REC YDS AVG TD
940 12721 13.5 68

The NFL 1980s All-Decade Team are an all-star side chosen by voters of the Pro Football Hall of Fame for having been outstanding performers in the National Football League in the 1980s.

So how exactly did these guys justify putting Monk on the all decade team and not the hall? Did Fatso King say that Gary Clark was the better of the two?

I was curious about the Henry Ellard selection too. Not just in comparison to Art Monk. I liked Ellard alot, but had no idea he was even in consideration for the HoF.
