What's up with Frost

Post by redskingush »

What happened to the 12 yard shanks, In three games he is booming punt, he's so far been a totally different guy. What ever a punter's offseason training might be, I hope he can keep this pace up.

Yea right, what happened to Frost? I was so down on him before, but he is doing excellent now. Its like he was kicking with his wrong leg or something before. He had a 60 yarder the other day, right? I don't know what happened, but I hope he keeps it up.

I hope its not them 'human growth hormones' getting to him. :P

Kinda like Brunell has been throwing with his wrong arm? :D

I read somewhere that Frost tried changing his form a little and that it's helped him... I guess so!

He is second in the league behind only McBrier from the 'pukes. His average is just under 50 yards per kick.

He had a 60-yarder yesterday that was returned for 7 yards. You've gotta love that kind of special teams!

I think the criticism and the crowds at Fedex have been motiviational. DC is not the place to be a sorry punter.

I'm not ready to call him the greatest yet, but he's certainly working hard to change my opinion of him (I happen to know that a lot of NFL players are working to improve themselves purely to impress me).

I have no idea what has happened to him but I'm impressed. I'm not holding my breath just yet. I still get nervous on every punt but he's done great so far.

Maybe he heard me screaming "Punt it more than 20 yards this time Frost!" during the preseason.

I couldn't agree more.

He's definitely been the shining star of the special teams unit. I'm thrilled so far.

Like he played in the preseason and last year.

He is now on my bad list again. How dare you all make me try to change my ways.

Guess that's what you get for being fickle.

Frost definitely had a bad game against the Jags... is he back to his old self? Or was it just a bad game... guess we'll know better this Sunday.

I was all over the guy ALL last year... because he stunk... but I am more than willing to concede that we'd seen a different Frost this year (until last Sunday), so hopefully the jags game was the enigma... not the previous 2006 games. We don't need special teams to start coming up short now that the ofensive and defensive units are firing a little better.
Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.
