I JUST DON'T GET IT

Stop with the big honesty and character bit. Gibbs has been telling the press the typical NFL coach BS for years-- that goes with the territory. As for keeping deals with players, forget it. He also has a reputation all around the league of being totally blind to Brunell's limitations and making suspect personel moves. He migtht yet prove himself yet again, but right now he's not a feared adversary in the NFL-- just another 50% w/l coach.

Leave the myth-making to kids

The kids?
Where is this reputation coming from?
Who's left since Gibbs got here - to spread this info "around the league".
His staff has pretty much been intack, he's added to it but how many have left? One QB coach as left( he was the same QB coach that chased Brunell out of Jacksonville... how much do you put into what he has to say?) Give me a name that been on the inside, not somebody that's no longer here and has a ax to grind.

Show me a proven suspect move Gibbs has made.
Brunell is in his 3rd year adjusting to a new number system at the least, coming off a record setting game after a playoff season.
Portis is coming off a big year.
Gibbs drafted - S. Taylor and C Cooley he brought in Griffin, Daniels, Washington and Springs. That's year one
Last year he he added players of the same caliber and in year three is continuing the trend.

If you are going to quote something someone else said, then at least show me what they are saying. Gibbs has made moves that some don't agree with but that doesn't make them suspect. Look at who is disagreeing.

If he doesn't get it now, he'll never get it. But, he left himself a nice little caveat to give him a good out for this when he said "he may yet prove himself". Now he can come back and say "I knew he would do it"!!!
Sit back and watch the Redskins.

SOMETHING MAGICAL IS ABOUT TO BEGIN!

SKins win today
