Owens an EAGLE

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

It's not that bad... he could destroy that team like he did the 49ers ;)

I doubt it. There's plenty of guys in the locker room to help keep him in line. And he wanted to be here, so that should keep him happy. It's not like the guy lives to be miserable.

McNabb's not publicly vocal, but he's vocal. There's also, Dawkins, Runyan, and Corey Simon. Seems like plenty of sponsors to me.

Who? They all left, except McNabb, Dawkins & Chad Lewis. He's not gonna hurt them either way, he's a play maker. I just hope Springs and/or Smoot can cover him!

Well he will find out this is THE NFC EAST....

He will have plenty of people that will pop his top if he thinks he is bigger then Life..

Mr T Owens meet R. Williams, Dat Nygun, Lavar Arrington, Trotter, D woodsen, F Smoot, Dexter Coackly and Matt Bowen. We hit hard here in the NFC EAST hope you enjoy the hits that will keep coming.

anyone who says TO is going to have a negative affect on the Eagles is being silly...

Owens is one of, if not THE best reciever in the NFL. He makes the Eagles a damned good football team.

Yeah... those guys where so vocal and influential... that the eagles couldn't even get over the hump 3 years in a row... I'm not saying the Eagles are a bad team... but unfortunatly for them... they have no one in the locker room to step it up and put that team in there place... TO about the loudest guy they got but that mouth could build them up or tear them down.

Why would that be silly??? He destroyed a franchise in San Franisco.... Yes he's a great WR, but you can't say that he couldn't also Destroy Philadelphia.. especially in a year or 2 if they haven't been to a Super Bowl....

I agree... but i still don't think there's anybody in that locker room that will stop TO from saying what he wants to say... if he decides he should say it.... I'm not saying he will tear down the franchise right away... he probably will have a great season and shut his mouth all next year... but whatch him a year or 2 from know and if he's not happy with the way phillies using him... i don't think he's just gonna be contient.

C'mon you guys, deal with it! Owens clearly makes the Iggles a better team... period. It's wishful thinking to believe otherwise.

My only question is: Will Smoot step-up like the stud we beleive he is (now that Champ is gone) and shut down "the mouth from SF?"

Mismanagement destroyed a franchise in San Fran. TO simply pointed it out every chance he got.

Well said. It'll be awfully hard for Mr. Owens to run his mouth with his head ring'n. Better leave the sharpie on the bench big guy...before it gets stuck up your :moon:

I know, it's clearly wishfull thinking  There's no way possible that Owens could possibly tear apart that franchise like he did with his big mouth in San Fransico  What was i thinking....

That tears it. I would've liked to trade down in the draft and take a stab at the defensive line depth, but now we NEED Shawn Taylor and his head-ringing hits.

Are you guys even reading my posts before you rip them apart...

I said he was a good WR....
I said he would probably have a good year, and keep his mouth shut this first year...

You don't think calling out the coach, the QB and the front office was detremental to that team?

What happen to the great 49ers of yester years????

If you don't believe that TO big mouth Publically and Inside that locker room didn't effect that franchise... well then you've never been in a locker room before.

A talented guy like that has a lot if influence in a locker room... to some it could be positive... and to some that scould be negative... either way he's still influencing a team...

The Eagles don't have that much room for improvment... they have to get to the SB this year to have a successful year.. and there division has gotten tougher... If TO is not winning and not getting the ball enough.... don;t expect him to just sit back and twiddle his thumbs!

We shouldn't trade down. We should get Sean Taylor. TO going to Philly is another reason to beef up our secondary.
Let us all gather around and drink the Cooley-Aid of the Redskins.

TO makes Philly better, fo sho, their biggest problem on the O was dropped passes... But I look forward to the fight between TO and the Philly Fans, they ain't gonna show him love for long, that'll be entertaining (and hopefully distracting)...
Two formation shifts, one man in motion, and a counter trey...those were the days...

BringThePain! Ouch! Maybe you should read your own posts...

NcNabb to TO seals the deal in the NFC East, probably the NFL..

for anybody questioning the Redskin's ability to compete with the Eagles, take a look at the depth charts, notably on the defensive line.

at least the Giants suck!
