EA Sports NFL Head Coach - True to Life?

Post by Arionquinn »

This post may be moved to a Redskins-specific forum, but I'll continue.

So for my birthday about a month ago, I picked up EA Sports NFL Head Coach for the PS 2. I played it that afternoon, got hired and got to training camp (it can be a long and tedious game, but I think it's fun).

Anyway, based on my "interview," I got five offers for a head coaching position: 1) Redskins; 2) Packers; 3) Vikings; 4) Lions; and 5) I believe it was San Francisco.

I looked through the offers, and most of them were in the 3-4 years, 8-11 million dollars. Then I looked at the Redskins offer: 4 years, 18.5 million dollars. Since I'm a Skins fan and I wanted to be their coach anyway, this offer sweetened the deal.

Talk about getting it down right in terms of working with Danny Snyder!

i played the demo of that game(i have a pc) and I though it was horrible. I am suprised you have played it this long. Anyways, I think they did get it right on that aspect.

Same here.
I saw this sign posted once, it said, 'blasting zone ahead'. Wow... shouldn't that read: 'Road Closed'? - Brian Regan

The game seems appealing, but it wore me out after an afternoon or two. My brother put it: "This is game is pretty realistic. . .in that I should have a salary if I'm going to take the time to play it. . ."

I have it... it is pretty tedious...

I think it's one of those games you have to REALLY know what's going on in order to get any enjoyment out of it...

Like, you have no idea of the guys you're interviewing.
