Pretty soon teams are going to start putting clauses in their players contracts preventing them from accepting the "honor" of being on the Madden cover.
They need to go back to putting Madden on the cover like back in the early 90s.
Or maybe the curse could work on commentators, too, and we can convince Joe Buck to be on it so he can go back to boring us with his jokes during baseball games in October.

Have they put talking heads in Madden yet? It's not like it'd be hard--just find a woman with a nice voice and have them say the same 3 things over and over again.
